Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are reportedly going to be the first quick-serve restaurants to add a suite of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options from Beyond Meat menu. The restaurant chains will offer a new all-day menu with added Beyond Meat items.
The ingredients of Beyond Sausage Burrito include grated dairy cheese, scrambled egg, hash browns, fresh salsa, tomatoes, and a Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty, which are served with a warm tortilla. The Beyond Sausage Burrito can be made vegan by skipping egg and cheese. The Beyond Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit consists of a Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty with the topping of a dairy cheese slice and egg, which is served on a biscuit. The existing Beyond Meat options, including the Beyond Famous Star and Beyond BBQ Cheeseburger, will be complemented by the new items launched by food chains.
Apparently, Hardee’s will roll out two options of Beyond Sausage Biscuit, the Original Beyond Thickburger and Beyond Sausage Burrito, after a successful trial in NC and St. Louis, Raleigh, and MO. The Beyond Sausage & Egg Biscuit includes egg and a Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty kept on a biscuit to serve. The Beyond Sausage Biscuit consists of a Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty topped on a biscuit.
Also, the Original Beyond Thickburger is made with a Beyond Burger patty and added lettuce, dairy cheese, tomato, dill pickles, red onion, ketchup, dairy-based mayonnaise, and mustard on a toasted bun. This thick burger too can be made vegan by omitting cheese and mayo in toppings.
Patty Trevino, Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing, CKE Restaurants (parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s), was reportedly quoted saying that the sale of Beyond Famous Star Burgers by Carl’s Jr. reached around 6.7 million since its debut. The partnership will help to offer innovation and quality at Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants, he further added.
