WellPet LLC, North America’s largest independent premium natural pet food firm, has reportedly announced that its Indiana-based manufacturing facility has been granted a ‘AA’ accreditation as per the Global Standard for Food Safety of the British Retail Consortium (BRC).
The globally-revered certification represents the company’s commitment to stay GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliant. In addition, it reflects the impressive leadership from the food safety and quality group of WellPet along with its continued and strategic investments in safety and quality.
The company’s Farm Fresh Kitchens manufacturing facility based in Minnesota and its Netherlands-based WHIMZEES® manufacturing facility also received high ratings in previous BRC audits.
WellPet has carefully curated, high-quality organic pet food along with innovations from its brands like Old Mother Hubbard®, WHIMZEES®, Wellness®, Eagle Pack®, Sojos®, and Holistic Select®.
The globally recognized BRC standards set the benchmark for exceptional manufacturing practices and this certification further validates the safety and authenticity of WellPet’s products which are developed to prioritize quality over other factors.
The WellPet team has total control over the entire manufacturing process to ensure a high standard of product quality and food safety. This includes quality inspections of raw materials to the shipment of the final product to consumers.
