Bengaluru-based food products company, iD Fresh Food has recently disclosed the launch of its cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Haryana to embrace the rising customer demand from North Indian markets, especially in the Delhi-NCR region.
Apparently, this is the fourth manufacturing facility of the company in India, built on an investment of over USD 2 million (INR 20 crore) which is slated to generate more than USD 6 million (INR 50 crore) of revenue in FY 22-23.
The greenfield, skid-mounted plant is situated at Hind Terminal in Palwal, Haryana, nearly 60km from Delhi and is over 15,000 sq. ft.
Commissioned on October 01, 2022, the plant is expected to make 15 tons of iD Fresh’s forerunner idly, dosa batter, and four tons of Malabar and wheat parotta daily.
The company also plans to double the production as the consumer demand rises.
Speaking on the latest move, PC Musthafa, CEO and Co-founder of iD Fresh Food, revealed that earlier it was believed that only south Indians liked crispy dosas and soft idlis.
However, today all Indians favor such food regardless of their geographies.
Musthafa mentioned that the demand for iD’s idly, dosa batter and Malabar parottas has constantly been growing, especially in the Northern markets.
According to the CEO, for delivering on their commitment to making healthy, and fresh food without any chemicals or preservatives easily accessible to all, the investment in the new manufacturing plant was crucial.
Musthafa notified that it is better to have manufacturing facilities closer to the markets to deliver perishable food products.
Musthafa further went on to say that the firm is excited about expanding its reach and serving more customers across the country.
Moreover, this new Haryana-based manufacturing facility will aid the firm in strengthening its footprint across the country and assisting it in meeting the customers' demands beyond metros and in tier 2 markets like Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, and Agra, among others.
