Lake Champlain Chocolates’ unveils a new Encore version of Bar35

Artisan chocolate producer Lake Champlain Chocolates (LCC) has reportedly launched an exclusive ‘Encore’ version of its Bar35 chocolate. As per reliable sources, the launch of new version is in continuation of the company’s successful sponsorship of the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival.

Reportedly, both LCC and the festival celebrated their 35th anniversaries this year. In addition to the limited release of Encore bar, the chocolate maker will also run a ‘Sweetest Hits Sweepstakes’ contest which will include five bars with a special autographed message in the wrapper from Jim Lampman, the founder of LCC. Five customers who find the wrapper with the message ‘Congrats, you won! – Jim’, will be declared as winners.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the lucky winners will receive chocolates worth more than $280. To claim the prize, winners will need to take a photo of themselves with the special wrapper and send it to the company headquarters in Vermont.

Allyson Myers, Director of Sales and Marketing at LCC, was quoted saying that the winners of ‘Sweetest Hits Sweepstakes’ will receive a collection of the company’s best of the best signature products which it has been making since inception. Reportedly, the products consist of Chocolates of Vermont, truffles and Five Star bars.

Myers further mentioned that to have founder Jim Lampman sign the wrappers emphasizes the fact that LLC is a family business with hands-on owners. The chocolatier has also announced the launch of its new omni-channel website to improve customer experience.

As per Erin Douglas, E-Commerce Manager at LLC, the new site has been launched at the right time to tackle the upcoming busy and important holiday season. Nearly 60% of the firm’s online business transactions takes place during the fourth quarter, cite sources.

The limited edition bar will be available in LLC’s retail outlets and online store for $4 from September 15 until supplies last. The company will also post daily updates on its social media pages so customers can know how many lucky bars are still out there.
